When I was a kid, I used to tell my friends that one day I'd live in New York and become a photographer.

Growing up in Guatemala City, where opportunities were limited, that dream sounded unrealistic to almost everyone around me. I was often told that dreaming too big only leads to disappointment.

Four years later, here I am.

Living in New York. Doing what I once imagined. Telling stories through my camera.

To me, photography isn't just about creating beautiful images. It's about preserving the emotions, the people, and the moments that time can never bring back.

Because long after the day is over, a photograph is what remains.
